Nigeria v Liberia: Iheanacho’s brace settles it
Super Eagles of Nigeria beat the Lone Star of Liberia 2-0 on Friday in Lagos, in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The goals came from England-based forward Kelechi Iheanacho in the 22nd and 44th minutes.
So Nigeria began their quest to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with a 2-0 win over Liberia on Friday.
The game was played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
The first-half brace sealed all three points for the three-time African champions.
