Northern Governors congratulates Atiku on his 75th birthday
The Northern Governors Forum, comprising both Governors of the ruing All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on his 75th birthday anniversary.
Chairman of the Northern Govern Rios Forum, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, conveying the congratulatory message of the northern governors, described the former Vice President as an accomplished politician, businessman and a philanthropist who has served the nation meritoriously.
Lalong disclosed that members of the Northern Governors Forum recognise and appreciate Atiku’s contributions to resolving some of the nation’s challenges, including those challenges peculiar to the North, which include illiteracy, poverty, insecurity, unemployment and lack of unity.
The Forum wished Atiku many more years of peace and good health; encouraging the former vice president to sustain his service to the people and also avail the northern region and Nigeria as a whole, his experience, wisdom and goodwill.
