NSE begins new week with losses
The Nigerian Stock Exchange closed in the red on Monday with the All Share Index ending trading session at 31,636.66 basis points, down 0.90 %. Year to date, the index is up 0.66%.
Cadbury Nigeria Plc was the best performing stock. The stock gained 10.00% to close at N11. Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc was next appreciating by 8.70% to close at N0.23. Nascon Allied Industries Plc rounds up the top three gainers for today, adding 8.50% to close at N20.
On the flip side, Cornerstone Insurance Plc was the worst performing stock. The stock declined by 8.70% to close at N0.23. Sterling Bank Plc fell by 8.51% to close at N2.25. Abbey Building Society Plc rounds up the top three losers for today shedding 8.16% to close at N0.98
FBN Holdings Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 34million shares valued at N279million were traded in 143 Deals. Zenith Bank Plc was next with 21.3million shares valued at N484million were traded in 458 Deals.
Unity Bank Plc rounds up the top three most actively traded stocks today with 17.5million shares valued at N134million traded in 177 deals.
