Obasanjo, Adebanjo, Peter Obi visit Ohanaeze Ndigbo
Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Sunday, visited the headquarters of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu State.
The trio paid a condolence visit to the organisation over the death of a former minister, Mbazulike Amaechi, in November.
Obi, who shared photos from the visit said, “I joined President Obasanjo and Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the Ohanaeze Headquarters in Enugu to sign the condolence register for late Chief Mbazulike Amaechi. The team was received by Chief Ogene Okeke. – PO.”
Amaechi had led a delegation of prominent Igbo leaders to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to request the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. Visit Ohanaeze Ndigbo HQ
