Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has assigned portfolios to Commissioners recently inaugurated in the state.

 Governor Obaseki in a circular by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, dated February 18, 2022, declared that following the recent appointment and swearing in of Commissioners, the deployment of the Commissioners into various ministries  has been effected as follows:  Dr. Joan Osa-Oviawe, Ministry of Education; Joseph Eboigbe, Ministry of Finance; Prof. Obehi Akoria. Ministry of Health; Marie Edeko, Ministry of Social Development and Gender Issues;  Oluwole Iyamu SAN, Ministry of Justice; Otse Momoh-Omorogbe, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning; Isoken Omo, Ministry of Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Development; Moses Agbukor, Ministry of Water Resources; Ethan Osaze Uzamere, Ministry of Mining, Oil and Gas; Andrew Emwanta, Ministry of Communication and Orientation;   Monday Osaigbovo, Ministry of Local Government Affairs; Christopher Osaretin Nekhikhare, Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs; Donald Okogbe Ojemeh, Ministry of Community and Chieftaincy Affairs;  Osasere Malachi Evbuomwan, Ministry of Transport;  Omololu O. Ojehomon, Ministry of Public Security; Afishetu Braimoh, Ministry of Industry, Trades and Cooperatives; Okojie Nosawe  Newton, Ministry of Roads and Bridges; Jonathan Lawani, Ministry of Environment and Sustainability; and  Stephen Ehikioya Idenbre, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.

 Osarodion Ogie, Secretary to the State Government, declared in a statement that the deployment takes immediate effect.
