Obi votes, calls on all registered voters to come out to vote
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, on Saturday cast his vote at his polling unit in Anambra State. Obi accompanied by his wife, Mrs Margaret Obi, who also cast her vote, called on all registered voters who were yet to vote to come out and cast their votes in the governorship and state house of assembly elections. Obi stated that Nigeria’s democracy would benefit from the performing their civic duty.
Obi in a tweet on his official twitter handle wrote: Peter Obi @PeterObi “At about 11.20am this morning, I exercised my franchise by casting my vote in my polling unit. My dear wife Margaret also voted. I encourage every registered Nigerian voter, who have not yet voted to go and do so.”
