Oby Ezekwesili slams Tinubu, others over alleged attempt to fire Rufai Oseni
Obiageli Ezekwesili, an economic policy expert, an advocate for transparency, accountability, good governance, and human capital development, a humanitarian, and an activist, has called out the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and his campaign council for threatening to fire political journalist Rufai Oseni on Arise TV.
Earlier today, the co-host of Arise TV’s morning show opened up, alleging that some individuals were talking to his boss about having him off the TV show, as he channelled his allegation in the direction of the ruling APC.
Speaking about this, Oby Ezekwesili took to her official Twitter timeline as she urged the standard bearer of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his cohorts to desist from attempting to have Mr. Rufai fired.
In her exact words, “I advise Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, and his campaign team to quit trying to intimidate Rufai Oseni of Arise TV for his objective analyses as a journalist.” Stop it! You have the ones singing your praise, so leave Rufai for Citizens. Be wise.”
