Offa: Outcome of IGP, Saraki, Dogara meeting with Osinbajo
IGP Ibrahim Idris, Sen. President Bukola Saraki, Speaker Yakubu Dogara met with V.P Yemi Osinbajo at Aso Rock on Monday, and the outcome keeps Nigerians in suspense.
The polce boss kept quiet after the closed-door meeting which also had in attendance AGF Abubakar Malami and DSS boss Lawan Daura.
The meeting followed an invitation by the police authorities summoning Saraki to the Force headquarters for interrogation.
The leading suspects of the Offa bank robbery in Kwara have named the Senate president as their sponsor.
And following the police inviation, the DSS withdrew some of its men attached to Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
The police has, however, asked Saraki to respond in writing in 24 hours, a departure from the initial statement inviting him to the Force headquarters.
