Chapel of Glory, a Nondenominational Worship Centre of Ogun State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board has donated school uniform, sandals, amongst others to over 40 less privileged pupils to promote wellbeing and improve their academic performance.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Ibiyemi Oduyemi, who led the team at presentation of the school materials, among other items, to the pupils of Obafemi Owode Local Government Nursery and Primary School, Apena, Magbon, said the gesture came from the need to give them a sense of belonging and motivate them in their academic performance towards passion to reach their goals in life.

He noted that the Chapel being a nondenominational worship Centre in Oke-Mosan, decided to gather resources together from well meaning individuals considering the excruciating socio-economic situation of the country and bless lives of the less privileged in the society.

He implored the pupils to focus on their studies, refrain from indulging in bad behaviour that could hinder them from achieving destiny. The Board Secretary said ” Focus on your studies, be more determined to succeed in life and have faith in God that he will provide for all your needs. Just be good pupils, obey your parents, and the school authority and it shall be well with you”.

The School Head Teacher, Miss Adejimi Ajibola, who was joined by other teachers to receive the school materials for the pupils, appreciated the Chapel of Glory for picking the school as the beneficiary of their humanitarian kind gesture.

She prayed for God’s continuous grace over the Chapel and promised to share the items judiciously to achieve the set objective.

In their separate remarks, the Senior boy, Master Sodipe Paul, and the Senior Girl, Miss. Soluade Sarah, were glad to receive the gift items and acknowledged the fact that the items would go a long way at improving their well being. They appreciated the pastorates and members of the Chapel, praying that God will continue to bless them.

Other Officials of the Chapel that were at the presentation included, the Chaplain, Adeneye Olamilekan; Pastor Lateef Ositelu, Banjo, Adéyemí Stephen, Abiona Olúwaseun, Pastor Oke Adegboyega, Olabode Olakunle, Mrs. Shogbamu Olaide and Mrs Adeyinka Omolade.
