Okonjo-Iweala endorses #EndSARS protests, seeks help for Buhari
Nigeria’s nominee for the Director General of the World Trade Organization ((WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Sunday endorsed the #ENDSARS protests by Nigerian youths demanding police brutality and extra-judicial killings, advocating the need for collective support to provide held for President Muhammadu Buhari on moving the country forward.
Okonjo-Iweala, former Minister of Finance, commended the courage of the Nigerian youths involved in the peaceful #EndSARS protests, advocating the conversion of the protest to achieve a positive outcome.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (@NOIweala) in a tweet, wrote: “I applaud the resourcefulness and courage of Nigerian youth in the #EndSARS. Powerful to let your voices be heard peacefully.
“Let’s join hands for a positive outcome through a One Nigeria approach.”
