Nigerian celebrity thespian and movie producer, Omotola Jolade Ekeinde, popularly called Omosexy is going all out to speak her truths about the state of the nation regardless of the pressure to keep her quiet by the Presidency.
Omotola had spoken few days ago about the state of affairs. She talked about the persistent killings across the nation, the economic crisis and poverty as well. According to the entertainer with multiple endorsement deals, life as a Nigerian under the government of President Mohammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is hellish.
Her words, ““The Country Under your watch is Hellish! @ProfOsinbajo @MBuhari @NGRPresident The lack of Money in circulation. Now coupled with the Continuous Assault n Killings by Uniformed men’ll make this Country implode!!! It’s Unbearable! Do something!Insecurity! Fear and desperation everywhere”, has become a bitter pill in the tongue of the presidency and as such the presidency is not keeping quiet.
Through it’s new media aide, Bashir Ahmad, the presidency has lashed back at Omotola. And in doing so, an attempt to drag Omotola’s character to the mud has been made.
The presidency believes Omotola is only blabbing because she and many other Hollywood superstar miss the days of free money from past government.
He indirectly accused Omotola of not having a ‘clean’ channel of income, “Madam Omotola those who are working for clean money are not complaining and will never refer our dear country as ‘hellish’. In Kano State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated among millions”.

Replying the presidency, and other persons who feel she is suffering from the scarcity of circulated free funds from corruptable past leaders. Omotola educates them on economics 101 and money circulation, “Lol, apart from the fact that I do not and was never in the company of collecting free money? It’s sad that you think ‘circulation of Money in a Nation‘ means free money. Speaks clearly of your orientation and level of education/understanding…”.

In the same light some persons are adding their voices to Omotola’s digital activism. One of such persons is the senator representing Kaduna south senatorial district in the National Assembly, Shehu Sanni. According to the senator, ‘Omotola’s view reflects the views of millions of poor Nigerians; throwing mud on her cannot not twist the reality”
