One killed, Two injured in Lagos multiple vehicle crash
The unfortunate crash involved two vehicles; a blue Mack truck with registration number AKD 579 XM (commercial), and a silver Lexus saloon car with registration number LSR 545 JN (private). A total of five adult males were involved in the incident.
The Lagos Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed a fatal multiple road traffic crash in the early hours of Monday, claiming the life of one person and leaving two others injured.
Mr. Kehinde Hamzat, the state Sector Commander, disclosed this in a statement released in Lagos, stating that the incident occurred at approximately 5:36 a.m. along the Tradefair–Agbara route, specifically at Iyana Era Bus Stop.

According to the FRSC’s preliminary investigations, the crash was attributed to Speed Violation (SPV) and Loss of Control (LOC), despite the road being in good condition.
The violent impact of the collision resulted in the immediate death of one adult male, while two others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Mr. Hamzat noted that the FRSC emergency response team arrived at the scene within four minutes of receiving the report and promptly managed the situation.

The injured victims were swiftly referred to Alimosho General Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
The Sector Commander extended his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and wished the injured individuals a rapid recovery.
He reaffirmed the FRSC’s unwavering commitment to road safety and urged all motorists to refrain from speeding and to consistently maintain full control of their vehicles while driving.
