Osinbajo better fit for president than Tinubu, Utomi declares
A leader in the Labour Party, Prof. Pat Utomi, has declared that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is not fit to be president of Nigeria, saying that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is more fit to be the presidential candidate of the APC for the 2023 elections.
Prof. Utomi speaking on Channels Television, emphasised that Nigeria has suffered so much from having ailing leaders, saying that this was the reason Vice President Osinbajo joined the race for the presidential ticket of the APC.
Utomi challenged Tinubu to go for a medical test and make the result public, insisting that the signs are there to show that Tinubu is unfit for the presidency.
Utomi was cited to have declared: “Physically, you can see he is ailing. Let’s not kid ourselves. Let’s be honest.
“American presidents go through medicals.
“Let him go through medicals with Nigerian doctors and make it public.”
Utomi had asserted that the 2023 elections and emergent leader is about “the lives of millions of people”.
The Labour Party stakeholder was of the view that the APC would have sponsored Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for the 2023 general elections rather than Tinubu.
According to Utomi, “Our country has suffered so much from having ailing leaders. That was why I can say here, that was why the Vice President stepped up, he would have been a fit person.”
