Osinbajo presidential declaration, an impending disaster – Adebayo warns
Presidential aspirant, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has described the presidential ambition of Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, as an impending disaster.
The leading Social Democratic Party aspirant said Osinbajo has no business running for the country’s most coveted position after “eight years of complete failure and unmitigated disaster”.
The renowned legal practitioner made this known on Monday via Twitter in reaction to the VP’s official declaration to run for president.
Osinbajo had pledged to consolidate on the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari if elected as his successor.
But Adebayo said the VP’s announcement is similar to a murderer auditioning to sing at funerals of his victims.
He wrote, “What a nerve after 8 years of complete failure and unmitigated disaster to climb over corpses of the victims of your failed government to announce for the Presidency. @ProfOsinbajo declaring for 2023 is like a murderer auditioning to sing at funerals of his victims! Sneak away pls!”
The current administration has been criticized for its handling of insecurity, economy and education.
Osinbajo, in particular, was condemned for his alleged mismanagement of the social investment schemes, prompting the creation of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
