Osinbajo’s convoy outrider dies in accident
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo lost the outrider in his convoy, Inspector Ali Gomina, in an accident in Abuja on Friday.
Gomina died on Friday in a road accident on his way to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, while taking the front row in the Vice President convoy who was departing Abuja on a trip.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the weekend paid a condolence visit to the family of late Inspector Ali Gomina, who was killed in the course of active service.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, had assured that all will be done to ensure that the family is well cared for in the light of the unfortunate circumstances.
Osinbajo had described Gomina as “a diligent, hardworking and serious-minded officer who will be greatly missed by the team”.
Gomina is survived by his wife, children, and relatives.
