Oyetola reportedly indicated in his statement that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is still analyzing the outcome of the governorship contest. This information comes from Daily Trust. Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary for the Osun Governor, issued a statement on Sunday stating that the APC would respond after evaluating the election results. The statement was issued by the Osun Governor.
Oyetola pleaded with those who support him in the state to maintain their composure and go about their business uninhibited. In addition to this, he insisted that the state’s law enforcement officers keep the peace and preserve order. In response to the remark, Davido asked the current governor, through the use of his micro-blogging network, Twitter, to simply welcome his replacement and refrain from taking any other action.
According to what he wrote, “What you ought to be doing is calling to congratulate your successor.” “Don’t bother with your studies.”
