Panic as Amateur boxer slumps during a training match in Festac
A light-heavyweight boxer identified as Miracle has passed on after he slumped during a training match in Festac, Lagos
It was gathered that the incident happened on Saturday, July 23 at FHA field in the Festac area of Lagos. A source who witnessed the incident said, “They were both training when Miracle’s opponent gave him a solid blow that knocked him out.
Miracle slumped and he was rushed to the hospital where he later dued. We gathered that he just got a UK visa to pursue his boxing career before the unfortunate incident happened.”
Another source confirming the incident said, “Miracle lost consciousness after two knockdown during a sparring session yesterday morning in Festac town, lagos.
He was given first aid treatment before being rushed to the hospital for full treatment. Unfortunately, he gave up the ghost at the hospital yesterday evening.
