PDP Crisis: Atiku ally reveals one move Wike is yet to make against Iyorchia Ayu (Video)
Amid the ongoing internal crisis in the nation’s topmost political opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a member of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, Fabiyi Oladimeji has come out to reveal the one thing that Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike is yet to do despite his much publicized grievance against the party’s National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
Speaking during an interview on CHANNELS TV’s ‘Sunrise Daily’, Fabiyi, who is Director of the Support Group and Events Technical Committee for Atiku’s presidential campaign, dismissed media reports claiming that there is a crisis in the PDP by disclosing that governor Wike and Atiku have been having private discussions away from the prying eyes of the public.
Going further, Fabiyi revealed that despite his recent outbursts, governor Wike is yet to publicly demand that Senator Ayu be removed as PDP national chairman.
“I have said it already that there are no problems In the PDP because Governor Wike and Atiku are talking. It may not be made public but indeed they are talking. Yes, there may be some concerns but I can assure you that they are been addressed.
I have not heard Wike come out publicly to say these are my demands. I have been hearing talks all over the place that Wike wants the PDP chairman gone, but I have not heard Wike himself come out publicly to say he wants the chairman to go. Neither has any of his supporters said so,” Fabiyi said.
