The federal lawmaker representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Constituency in the house of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Gagdi has said the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), are used to dragging his name in the media because he is a prominent politician in the State.

“My name is a big name and will always make news, that is why the PDP always wants to join issues with me”, Gagdi said on Tuesday while responding to PDP on the alleged involvement in truncating the result of the just concluded governorship polls in the State.

Recall the PDP Chairman in Plateau, Hon. Dismissing involvement in any electoral malpractice in Jos North, the lawmaker said the law does not permit him to leave his constituency to another location during elections and collation of results.

Gagdi who does not want to be distracted on his bid to contest for the Speakership of the 10 Assembly also said his focus is to cross the huddle of becoming the next Speaker and not to join issues with the PDP, he said
