PDP leaders shot dead

Two leaders of the PDP in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State have been shot dead while accompanying Hon Musa Agha, member representing Jos North/ Bassa constituency in the Plateau House of Assembly.

on a “thank you tour” of the general area Bassa LGA.

The Spokesperson of the Plateau police command, ASP Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the killing.

He said the attackers also shattered the vehicle of the lawmaker.

The Iregwe ethnic group in Bassa has condemned the attack and called on security operatives to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act.

Police has started investigation into the killing.
