PDP wins Plateau Jos-North/Bassa Bye-elections

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has been declared winner of the February 26th Bye-election, of the Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency in Plateau State.
The PDP candidate, Hon. Musa Agah pulled 40, 343 to beat his closest rival, Mr. Muhammad Gwani of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), who scored 37, 757 votes.
Hon. Abbey Aku of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), scored 26, 111 votes to emerge third place in the election.

PDP – 25,367
PRP – 34,474
Bassa
APC -12,880
PDP-14,976
PRP-3,283.
