Peter Obi visits Jonathan in Bayelsa
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, visited former President Goodluck Jonathan at his country home in Bayelsa State on Friday in continuation of his consultation for the presidential race.

They both had closed door meeting where former President Jonathan was said to have commended Obi for contesting the 2023 presidential election outside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The former president had also noted that Nigeria is extremely divided, urging Obi to united Nigeria as his first task if he wins.
Obi visited Jonathan with his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, and other LP leaders.
