Photos of items that were recovered from armed robbers that attacked banks in Uromi on Thursday
According to National Daily reports, it was reported that the men of Edo State Police Command on Friday, recovered the sum of N34.5 million and four vehicles that were used by the armed robbers who invaded some banks in Edo State on Thursday, as they killed seven persons including two security operatives.
It was also made known that motorcycles, bags containing some items and a Union Bank ATM card were also recovered by police operatives.
Information that was gathered, the men of Edo State Police Command with some local vigilantes got a credible information that, some vehicles that were used by the armed robbers in Uromi, were seen hidden in Oruen Quarters Bush of Ubiaja in Esan South East Local Government Area of the state.
After they received information, police operatives moved to the scene and recovered the items there.
In another development, it was made known by a Twitter user that, after the robbery on Thursday, some youths in Ubiaja were able to block Ubiaja Road, as this forced the robbers to flee and abandon their vehicles which were loaded with the money they stole from the banks they robbed.
