Plateau LP faction suspends chairman, exco

The new faction of the Plateau State Labour Party acting Chairman, Comr. Solomon Ndam, has announced the suspension of the State Working Committee led Julius Abure executive members, chaired by Mrs Grace Zamfara.

Ndam said the suspension is coming after the said members and its chairman, was involved in anti party activities and self-imposing themselves as executive members of the party in the State.

In a statement signed by the factional Chairman of the party, Ndam, and a copy made available to our correspondent on Monday, said the suspended members actions also flaunted the party’s rules and guidelines.

According to him: “Article 20 section 2 of the Labour Party constitution stipulates disciplinary actions be taken against any member that goes against the party’s ethics.

“In the same section 2 of the 20th article in subsection 2b, the suspension is recommended for a period of a stipulated time.

“However, after forming a quorum, we decided to suspend the following persons from the Labour Party Plateau State for a period of six (6) months.

“The following are the names of those suspended immediately and we urge the general public to take note of them.

“1. Grace Zamfara, 2. Bulus Kaze, 3.     James Adara Awara, 4.  Danladi, 5. Sanni Datti,  6. Alloy Ibeh, 7. Aliyu Abbdusalami, 8. Sani Dattijo, 9. Mrs. Oren, 10. Moses Fom, 11. Nuhu Gyang S.D, 12. Pastor Dabit Joseph, 13. Mr. Jonah 14. Mr. Emmanuel George and others”,  the statement said.
