Police Commissioner arrives Emir’s palace for eviction of Sanusi

The Commissioner of Police in Kano State, Habu Ahmadu, arrived the palace of the Emir of Kano Monday afternoon on suspected assignment of supervising the eviction of the deposed Emir HhuhhMuhammad Sanusi ll from the palace and his banishment from the Kano Emirate.
Report indicated that the Police Commissioner arrived the palace with armed police officers who immediately barricaded the main entrance of the palace, popularly known as Kofar Kudu.
At the time of arrival, the whereabout of Emir Sanusi II was said to be unknown. The dethroned Emir was however, said to be banished to Nasarawa.
Emir Sanusi II was installed as successor of late Emir Ado Bayero in 2014.
