Portable reacts to Mohbad’s death

Popular Nigerian singer Portable has taken to social media to mourn the death of his colleague, Mohbad.

Mohbad, who was part of the Marlian Music label, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

In a post on his Instagram story, Portable wrote: “Rest in peace, Mohbad. You were taken too soon. You will be missed.”

In an Instagram live, Portable called on his fans to celebrate him while he’s still alive and not while he is dead.

The news of Mohbad’s death has come as a shock to the Nigerian music industry. Many artists have taken to social media to express their condolences, including his former record label boss Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, and Poco Lee.
