Presidency 2023: APC excludes Jonathan, screens 23 presidential aspirants
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday begins the screening of the party’s presidential aspirants for the 2023 general elections. In the list of presidential aspirants for screening, former President Goodluck Jonathan was omitted, thus, the former president may have been excluded from the screening after the N100 million Expression of Interest and Nomination forms were purchased for him by supporters.
The list of aspirants for screening for the APC presidential ticket include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo SAN, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, among others.
