Primary, secondary schools reopen January 18 in Delta
Primary and secondary schools in Delta State will reopen on Monday, January 18, 2021. This is a one week shift from the earlier date of Monday, January 11 scheduled for resumption.
The Delta State Government, accordingly, on Friday directed all public and private primary and secondary schools in the state to resume on Monday, January 18, 2021.
The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Patrick Ukah, made the announcement in a statement on Friday which he circulated on the official Twitter handle of the state government.
Ukah also told parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the scheduled school resumption, adding that the pupils and students will immediately have to write tests on January 20, 2021.
