Protest as INEC declares APC candidate winner of Imo reps election
The people of Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State on Tuesday protested at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Owerri over the declaration of Canice Nwachukwu of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the election in the federal constituency.
The protesters held placards saying that no election took place in the federal constituency owing to the insecurity ravaging the area.
They said they were surprised to read the next day that Nwachukwu of the APC had been returned as the winner of the election.
