Sanwo-Olu congratulates Tinubu on emerging ECOWAS Chairman
Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his election as Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Sanwo-Olu noted that Tinubu’s emergence as ECOWAS chairman was a significant affirmation of Nigeria’s leadership in the West African sub-region and Africa.
The governor added that the President’s “powerful speech proclaiming Nigeria’s comeback and our role in regional economic growth and development was inspiring”.
