Secondus challenges ward to make open his suspension
Suspended national chairman of the PDP has decribed as false the news that his ward at Ikuru, Andoni LGA, Rivers, suspended him for not bringing contracts to the area, and for disobeying party dictates.
It has been widely reported Ward Chairman George Christopher, at the party’s extraordinary meeting at the party’s secretariat announced the suspension Septemeber 1.
The chairman said 11 executive members out of the 17 endorsed Secondus suspension from the party.
“Until further notice, our brother, Prince Uche Secondus remains suspended. I want to thank you for coming and reaffirming the suspension of Uche Secondus,” he said.
The chairman could as well be kidding himself announcing the outcome of their clandestine meeting.
Ike Abonyi, media aide to the national chairman, said the suspension never happened.
“I can confirm that the story is false and you can quote me anywhere. I’m currently in Port Harcourt and there’s no such thing as him being suspended,” he told the Daily Post.
The PDP has set up a national conciliatory panel that will firt confront Rivers Gov. Nyesom Wike and Secondus of being the party problem.
The panel will the seek concessions from both party men.
With three ex parte counter orders, Wike insists Secondus must go for the PDP to progress.
