Senate sends list of confirmed ministerial nominees to Tinubu

The Senate on Tuesday sent the list of confirmed ministerial nominees to President Bola Tinubu as the Upper Chamber of the 10th national Assembly concluded legislative duties of screening the nominees.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly matters, Senator Abdullah Gumel, on Tuesday confirmed the transmission of the list which was received by the President.

President Tinubu is expected to assign portfolios to the ministerial nominees for the inauguration of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The senate rejected three ministerial nominees; and confirmed 45 others.
