As time passed by, the terrorist groups started attacking government institutions and kidnapping members of the public for ransom. This latest trend of kidnapping members of the public especially students and politicians is fast becoming an everyday thing.
In our today’s report, we will be bringing to you names of notorious criminals killed while exchanging bullets with higher powers in Northern Nigeria.
1. Abubakar Shekau
The dreaded leader of Boko Haram was shot and badly injured by the ISWAP terror group after they invaded Sambisa forest. According to the report, Shekau snuffed out his own life after he was badly injured by the ISWAP terror group. This ended about two decades of Shekau’s terror in Northern Nigeria.
2. Nasiru Kachalla
Kachalla terrorized residents of Kaduna State for many years before he was eventually killed by a rival group. The young man operated along Kaduna-Abuja road and also the Chikun/Kajuru area kidnapping innocent Nigerians. In 2020, Kachalla reportedly kidnapped Mrs. Bola Ataga and her two children. He was also Kidnapped Seminarians of Good Shepherd Major Seminary Kaduna. Kachalla’s death was celebrated by residents of Kaduna State.
3. Jauro Deji
Jauro Deji operated in many communities in Niger State. The young man had a group of armed boys under his command whom he carried out attacks with. He was reportedly killed in 2021.
4. Dogo Nabajallah
Nabajallj’s death brought a sigh of relief to residents of Katsina State. The notorious bandit met his waterloo after his gang of bandits engaged another gang in a fight. Nabajallah was killed. He was killed inside the axis Dungan Muazu forest located in Sabuwa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
5. Rufai Maikaji
This deadly bandit also made life difficult for residents of Kaduna State before he was eventually killed. He commanded over a hundred fighters in Kaduna State before his death.
In conclusion, the death of all the above criminals that terrorized Northern Nigeria and were later killed clearly shows that no evil-doer will go unpunished.
