SUPER TV CEO: Police arrest Chidinma’s co-conspirators, make fresh discovery
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested more suspects in connection with the murder of Super TV CEO Usifo Ataga
According to Commissioner of Police Hakeem Odumosu, a conspiracy has also been established in the circumstances surrounding the killing of Ataga.
Odumosu said Ataga was said to be drugged before he was killed.
Ataga was killed last month in a short-rest apartment on the Island, where he had a tryst with Chidinma Ojukwu, a 300-level student of mass communication at UNILAG.
Chidinma initially confessed to stabbing Ataga after both of them drank and took hard drugs, and quarreled erupted over sex.
But Ataga’s friends and family have been pushing an alternative theory-that the lady was a front for a grand plan to assassinate the CEO.
The suspects has now changed her story, saying she left for an ATM point only to come back to find the door locked, with Ataga dead inside.
