Supreme Court Justice Oseji dies at 67
A Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Samuel Oseji, has been proclaimed dead. He died on Monday in Abuja.
The demised Justice Samuel Oseji was a member of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on the 2019 presidential poll at the court of appeal. Thereafter, he was elevated to the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Justice Oseji is from Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State.
The death of Justice Oseji led to the adjournment of
all cases scheduled for hearing on Tuesday at the court he presided.
Justice Oseji was appointed into the Supreme Court in 2020 by President Muhammad Buhari.
Justice Sylvester Ngwuta of the Supreme Court had died in March this year.
