Tax Evasion Scandal: FIRS slams Linda Ikeji with N75million fine
Popular Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji has reportedly been slammed with a N75 million tax bill by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
According to an independent online news agency, The Capital, the blogger is however unwilling to pay up the accrued tax bill.
The news source disclosed that a source within the FIRS revealed that the blogger had been evading tax payment for a while. The source further disclosed that the FIRS has now mandated the blogger to pay up the accrued sum.
The blogger according to the news source was also reported to have denied ownership of the N500 million worth Banana Island mansion when quizzed by the FIRS officials.
