A Badagry Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State, on Wednesday ordered that one 18-year-old Lekan Daramola should be remanded for stealing a primary school property worth N3.3 million.

The Magistrate, Mr Fadahunsi Adefioye, gave the order after Daramola pleaded guilty to a count charge of stealing.

Adefioye ordered that the defendant should be kept at Awhajigoh custodial facility in Badagry.

He adjourned the case until March 30 for review of facts of the case and sentencing.

Earlier, the prosecutor, ASP Clement Okuoimose, told the court that the defendant committed the offences in February at Ilogbo-Elegba area of Lagos.

He said that the offences contravened Sections 309 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
