Terrorists sack military base in Borno
Truckloads of ISWAP fighters struck a military base at Gajibo, Borno, on Tuesday, killing five soldiers and carting away arms ammunition.
Eyewitnesses said the terrorists came in 15 gun trucks.
Days ago, the insurgent took over a town in Borno, and planted their flag there.
This happened amidst federal government’s insistence no part of the state is ceded to the terrorists
The Tuesday attack that left five soldiers killed also had a lot of wounded federal troops seen evacuated from the base.
More than 15, 000 Nigerians, including military officers have been killed by the insurgents since 2011.
