The VP ‘Angrily’ called our show the day we joked about him, Babajide Otitoju recalls (Video)

The ace Nigerian journalist, Babajide Kolade-otitoju, has recalled his encounter with the VP, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on a TV program. Babajide recalled the incident on TVC News while telling Nigerians that their leaders watch the news and TV discussions.

Recalling the incident, Babajide said, “They listen to us. We were here one day, and we were unaware that the VP was watching our program. We even cracked jokes that day as we discussed the issue of restructuring. I recall that someone on the program said the VP is already in government, and we should not expect him to talk about restructuring. The person added that one does not talk while eating.”

He added, “The VP got ‘angry’, and he called us on the TV program. The man defended himself effectively. How would he have defended himself in the TV program if they had not watched us? I recall the day I spoke concerning the attack by Boko Haram on the town of the current IGP. I commented on the issue at the beginning of his tenure. However, the IGP later had a chance to speak with me, and he reminded me of my comments. ”
