This is the only state in Nigeria that shares it’s boundary with ten other states
Nigeria is a blessed country with a diverse population and numerous ethnic groups which comprises of the 36 states.
The confluence State as it is popularly referred to because the confluence of River Niger and River Benue is at its capital, Lokoja. Kogi State is located at the North Central of Nigeria sharing boundaries with 10 other states. The States it shares boundaries with are:
- Niger State – towards the North
- Federal Capital Territory – towards the North
- Nasarawa State – towards the North East
- Kwara State – towards the North West
- Benue State – towards the East
- Anambra State – towards the South
- Enugu State – towards the South East
- Ondo State – towards the West
- Ekiti State – towards the West
- Edo State – towards the South West
