Troops neutralize 2 terrorists in Kaduna
Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for counter terrorism operations in Kaduna State have successfully neutralized 2 terrorists and captured their arms in a swift and decisive ambush operation conducted in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to the Headquarters of the Nigerian Army @HQNigerianArmy the troops responding to actionable intelligence, executed a well-coordinated ambush along the Tasha-Bwari Road, a vital link between Gurara town in Kachia and Kagarko Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.

The Army narrated that during the operation, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle, resulting in the neutralization of two terrorists, while others straggled away with gunshot wounds.
The operation led to the recovery of arms and valuable intelligence, including an AK-47 rifle with a magazine containing 27 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 2 machetes, 2 mobile phones, and the sum of N80,000 only, along with other supplies.
The Nigerian Army remarked that “this successful operation not only averted a potential terrorist attack, but also delivered a significant blow to the terrorist network operating in the State. The Nigerian Army’s proactive and effective response underscores troops’ dedication to maintaining peace and security for the citizens of Kaduna State and its environs.”
The Nigerian Army assured that they remains resolute in their mission to combat terrorism and protect the nation.
“We commend the bravery and professionalism of our troops and assure the public of our continued vigilance and commitment to safeguarding our country,” the Army said.
