Trump challenges CNN to prove 2020 presidential election wasn’t rigged for Democrats
The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, has challenged the CNN to prove him wrong that the 2020 presidential election was not rigged. Trump had sued CNN for defamation, demanding $475 million punitive damages.
CNN had questioned Trump’s suit, saying his claim is a “big lie”; but Trump said the word was coined by anchors to malign his reputation. Trump in a media interaction, challenged CNN to “prove the big lie.”
According to Trump, “They’ll say whatever comes to mind. They talk about the big lie. I said, well prove the big lie. The big lie is not a big lie at all. The big lie is the opposite.”
He maintained: “All the stats—we have everything. Unfortunately, we haven’t had judges that want to look at it. They don’t want to change elections.”
Trump sued CNN last Monday for defamation. He stated: “And so we sued CNN for a lot of money and we’ll see how that goes. I think it should go very well.”
