Ukraine revokes accreditation of western journalists
The Ukrainian military on Monday revealed the revocation of the accreditation of some western journalists, protesting their coverage of the recaptured Kherson region.
The military complained that some media representatives ignored the existing bans and warnings and started reporting from Kherson without the approval of the military commanders and relevant PR departments, even before the stabilization measures were completed.
The general staff, writing on Facebook, disclosed the sanction, noting that it remains unclear which journalists were affected.
Reports indicated that at least six correspondents from CNN and Sky News were affected in the revocation of accreditation.
Also, Ukrainian media portal, Detector.media revealed that two journalists from the Ukrainian internet channel, Hromadske, had their military accreditation revoked because of a report from Kherson.
