UMOREN: UNIUYO releases result dead rape victim could have had, better by far

Unfortunately, the 26-year-old who spent four years sweating it out to make this grade was raped, killed and buried by her rapist in Akwa Ibom weeks ago.

More, Umoren, who met her death while looking for a job to keep her hand in till she would be called up for her national youth service, could have got a placement right at her department in the University of Uyo.

But all that is history now thanks to Uduak Akpan, the serial rapist who ended her dream and life.

Akpan has confessed to the crime, after hiding around or about two weeks.

The police and the Akwa Ibom State Government have promised to ensure justice.
