US declares commitment to assist in eradicating ISIS, other terrorists in West Africa

The United States Government has declared renewed commitment in assisting countries in the West African sub-region to root out the ISIS and other terrorists from the sub-region. The US vowed to deploy all machineries to battle ISIS and other terrorist group anywhere in the work to bring them to their knees.

The US Secretary of State, Pompeo, in a tweet on Wednesday expressed satisfaction of the successful virtual coalition meeting on Tuesday on destroying ISIS in West Africa.

Secretary Pompeo had tweeted on his twitter handle: “Great progress was made at yesterday’s virtual Global @coalition to Defeat ISIS meeting on West Africa. We will use all tools at our disposal to counter ISIS and its affiliates anywhere in the world. My thanks to Nigeria for co-hosting the event.”
