US reinforces Ukraine with missiles to fight Russia
The United States has sustained military assistance to Ukraine in the war with Russia. There are emerging indications that the U.S. is planning to further reinforce Ukraine with the supply of sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles for deployment against Russia.
It was gathered that President Joe Biden “has made the procurement of advanced air defence systems for Ukraine a priority.”
It is anticipated that the US government may make public, “likely this week”, the purchase of an “advanced medium-to long-range surface-to-air missile defence system,” including other weapons to strengthen Ukraine in the war with Russia.
