Vacancy at the Emirates as Arsenal’s chief executive sets to resign
There is vacancy at the Emirates as Arsenal’s chief executive, Vinai Venkatesham is set to resign. The 37-year-old will leave the club next summer after announcing his decision to step down from the role.
Venkatesham has spent the last 13 years at Arsenal, having joined the Gunners as their head of global partnerships in 2010.

Since then, he’s risen up through the ranks of the club and he’s spent the last three years as Arsenal’s CEO.
However, Venkatesham has decided to pursue a new challenge and has informed the Gunners over his decision to resign.
According to the Athletic, he will step down in the summer of 2024.
The decision is said to be amicable and it allows the club plenty of time to appoint a successor.
As a non-executive director of British Olympics, Venkatesham has plenty of interests outside of football.
He worked on London 2012 before his appointment at the Emirates.
