Van dan Vaart: Every team needs a player like Isco
Rafael Van der Vaart demonstrates his skills as a commentator and his experience on the pitch at Radio MARCA. The former footballer lives with special emotion the clash of round of 16 between Ajax and Real Madrid, since it is two of the most important teams of his football career. From both clubs Rafael keeps a nice memory of the past and shares his opinions about the current teams.
The tie: “Surely Ajax poses a very tough match, it’s a great team, but the Real is Real.” Real Madrid arrives in good shape, showed it in the derby, and Ajax the other day. He did not give good sensations in his puncture of the weekend, I see the Real Madrid favorite, so that he has options Ajax will have to play against the Bayen of Munich ”
Her new life: “I live in Denmark because my girlfriend is playing handball, I work on Dutch television, I like it a lot, sometimes I am hard, but I try to be positive in my evaluations”
De Jong: “He gets a lot of goals and, with the ball, he’s the best player in Holland, I think that’s why Barça is the best team he can be in”
Isco: “He reminds me of me, not very big and with a lot of technique, everybody needs a player like him, I do not understand how he does not play, I’m a great defender of his”
Vinícius: “It’s impressive how he’s playing, he has speed, technique … everything, Ajax will have a problem with him and Real Madrid will enjoy it, he has confidence and will end up scoring goals, I remember training with great goalscorers like Rubén Castro or Van Nistelrooy and hopefully Vinícius will end up being like them facing the goal ”
Cristiano Ronaldo: “I had a lot of goals and that’s very important, it has not been solved by Real Madrid, but before, if they played badly, they knew that he was there to appear, to win big titles is necessary”
Did you have an offer from Barça ?: “When I was 16, I said ‘no’ to an offer from Barcelona, my dream was to play at Ajax”
