We are ready for Comets – 3SC coach
Ahead of Wednesday’s match day one fixture of the Nigeria National League (NNL), coach Edith Agoye and his players say they in perfect shape for a great start, National Daily learnt.
The Oluyole Warriors will kick start their quest for promotion with a home match against Abia Comets on Wednesday at the Lekan Salami Stadium with the team targeting the maximum points.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, chief coach of the club, Edith Olumide Agoye said his team would go for the kill against the visitors come Wednesday
“We are fully set for the task before us. My boys are in top shape, they are eager to go, they are spurred on by the motivation they have got from the management, so our fans should expect nothing than victory on Wednesday”, declared the former 3SC striker
Captain of the team, Waheed Omololu butressed his coach’s optimism, stressing that they will go all out for a handsome win against the visitors on Wednesday
“We have no excuse not to record a big win on Wednesday, we have prepared well enough for the season and we want to give our fans a taste of what to expect from us this season”, he said
The striking duo of Tosin Abioye and Ahmed Rasheed shared the same sentiments but added that as the men in the front, they are saddled with the responsibility of doing the damage upfront
“My business is to bang in the goals and that is what I am aiming at”, hinted Abioye
“”We need to win and for us to win, we must score goals, that is my primary objective as a striker and I believe my goals would help the team to achieve our dream this season”, said Rasheed.
