WhatsApp records 25m messages per second during World Cup final – Zuckerberg
Chief Executive Officer of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, has revealed that the messaging platform, WhatsApp, reached a record of 25 million messages per second during World Cup final on Sunday.
He disclosed this via his verified Facebook account on Tuesday.
Zuckerberg also said that Lionel Messi’s World Cup post is the most liked in Instagram history.
He wrote, “Leo Messi’s World Cup post is now the most liked in Instagram history. WhatsApp also reached a record 25 million messages per second during the final.”
